If you have kids, we have things to do.

I could do that! July 20, 2010

That’s right, I do want you to help me get all the great activities listed for out community. If you have a great idea for a blog post, be my guest blogger!

I don’t mind posting information, but I don’t always have time to track down all the great things our area has to offer. I have a list of 50 more activities to post, and I just don’t have time to pull them together. So, type up your favorite place to go, include a few reasons why it is the best, email it to me at knoxactivitieskids@gmail.com and  I will review and most likely post your idea and give you all the credit. If you have spare time on your hands, I would love to have a few other authors to help out on a regular basis.

If you have a friend that owns a business that would like to be featured, have them email me. We would gladly feature them for some free stuff to giveaway. Tickets and passes are always welcome.  We would also be glad to show off your blog design skills if you want to make a logo, background or other fun items.  Thanks, and have fun with your kids today!

Knoxville Zoo July 5, 2010

There’s always something new at the Knoxville Zoo! The animals are always doing something interesting. The butterfly exhibit is fabulous. I hear the butterflies love read and hands that have sugar on them. Think Skittles, ice cream or other things kids regularly have on their hands. The otters and beavers keep me entertained longer than the kids want to watch them.

The Kids Cove has the best sandbox in Knoxville, and a great carousel. Take some towels and swimsuits and cool off in the water. If you don’t have Zoo passes currently, get them now and you can get a discount on Feasts With The Beasts, a fun adult night. Zoo membership information is here.

Tickets – buy one day passes at Kroger and get a discount with your Kroger Plus Card. Price information here.
